Sungai Kampar is located at Teluk Meranti village, north east of Pekanbaru sea. What is unique in this place is that although it is a river, many people also use it to surf. In here, the tidal waves--"Bono", as they are called by the locals--is passing through with the speed up to 40 km/hours, with height that can grow as high as 4 to 6 meters. Prospective guests are cautioned to be more careful since wildlife can also appear throughout the river, although for the more adventurous souls such matters can make things even more exciting
