Anjungan Seni Idrus Tintin is a grandiose building located in what is now known as Bandari Serai in Jalan Sudirman, Pekanbaru, and is one of the buildings in the city many labeled as "The Wonder Buildings of Pekanbaru." With a highly distinctive Melayu-style architecture, this venue resembles more of a castle rather than a place for art shows or events such as 2008's Indonesian Film Festival; its architectural style is truly something to behold--when you enter this building, you will be greeted with a magnificent view as you look up and view the upper part of the room that seem to have stretched to infinity. This place is truly an icon for Pekanbaru's art-space and has also become a favorite place for many to just relax leisurely in their free time.
