Garuda Wisnu Kencana, or more oftenly shortened as GWK Cultural Park, is a tourist attraction spanning a huge area of about 60 hectares located at Ungasan, Badung Regency. Reaching it is easy; a trip from Ngurah Rai International Airport to GWK will only take around 25 minutes by car through comfortable roads. Created by one of Indonesia’s leading sculptor, Mr. I Nyoman Nuarta, the statue is especially notable for its impressive size: it commands around 120 meters in height and the length of its wing spans to 64 meters wide.
