Guides to Bali

How to reach and explore Bali?
As the forefront of Indonesia tourism, there are certainly many different transportation methods that you can use to reach Bali. From Jakarta, you can either choose to go by plane or through the sea using PELNI ships. Most people choose an airplane to go to the so-called Island of the Gods, and for good reasons: convenience, quick travel time, and the plentiful of options available in terms of the numbers of airlines providing services from Soekarno-Hatta in Jakarta to Ngurah Rai in Bali. Ticket rates vary depending on the airlines that you choose but expect to spend at least Rp. 650.000,- for a one-way trip to and fro. Once you are there and you want to go around exploring Bali (who wouldn’t?), the most obvious way to help you do that is to rent a motorbike or a car. Car rental rates typically will cost you around Rp. 550.000,-/day (no gas) to Rp. 650.000,-/day with gas included.
