Kareba Cafe

It is the biggest city in Sulawesi Island. It is also the provincial capital of South Sulawesi. It is the fifth largest city in Indonesia behind Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Medan. It was called Ujung Pandang from 1971 to 1999, and even until now many would still use the two names interchangeably. These are all the descriptions of Makassar: but does the city have a good nightlife entertainment? Well, if you know where to look.

Kareba Cafe
Another favorite venue in Makassar to view sunset together with friends or a special one is Kareba Cafe, situated at the north end of the Losari Beach. If you are the kind of person that can appreciate a scene where you stare at sunset in a quiet atmosphere with a cold beer in your hand, then you will like it here. Once the evening arrives the café tend to be quite busy, especially when live bands begin to play. The food selection in this café is quite extensive too, so you will not be wanting for choices about which food to eat!
